ABOUT

I want to make sure you have a safe, caring family environment in which to leave your child. Somewhere they can learn, grow and spend days playing and making new friends, having fun and gaining new and exciting experiences.

I am a licensed Child Care provider and have had a family daycare for 10 years and have a valid child care first aid & CPR certificate and up to date criminal record check.

I also have my child development assistant qualification and a home study course in food safety. I have also completed other training programmes relevant to child development.

I ask that you provide lunch and i will make sure your child has plenty of healthy and nutritious snacks during the day, following the Canadian food guide. We will go outside on picnics and children will be able to discover and try new foods in a social environment eating with their new friends.

Each day we will make time for play.

Your children will develop through S.P.I.C.E. believing that children deserve to develop and learn in their social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional domains (S.P.I.C.E.) through experiences that are self chosen and based on their own interests.

We will be outdoors exploring nature and bring that back into our home by making it into crafts.

We will get messy through play and enjoy doing it.

We will celebrate your childs birthday together and bake cakes.

Child Safety

My home is clean and safe, I have taking all relevant precautions to make sure your child feels and is secure in the environment that we play in.

We will do regular fire drills so everyone knows what to do in an emergency and where we need to gather.

I will keep on hand all contact and emergency contact details from yourself.

Ask me if you want to find out what measures are in place in my home for your childs safety.

About ME..

I was born in England, and moved to Canada with my husband in 2011.

We spent the first few years working in Alberta and its snow... but our dream was to move and stay in Victoria.

I have a daughter Penelope who is 16 years old and attends high school, and a son Trajan who is 7 years old.

We love the outdoors and Penelope is part of the local swim club.

I have regularly volunteered my time to play groups and the Girl guides
